  • Grade Level: 9th-12th
  • Introduction: I have been teaching at Howard for three years as a Project Inspire cohort six resident. I chose teaching as my profession because of the economic disparity I've seen and witnessed in the Chattanooga community. Some students lack positive opportunities and quality educational experiences simply because of where they live or how they look. While I can't change our community as a whole, I can have a small impact in students’ lives that I hope will have a ripple effect for the better of the individual and our city. I've lived in Chattanooga for a great deal of my life, and earned my bachelor's degree at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a STEM education: Biology focus. Later, through Project Inspire, I earned my Master's degree in education and curriculum through Tennessee Technological University. I’m honored to be a part of the Howard Hustlin’ Tiger family and am looking forward to an incredible school year!
