Gregory Fisk

Hello My Name Is...

Gregory Fisk

This is my second year at Howard, where I teach 9th grade World History & Geography. I am originally from Birmingham, Alabama, and I am a graduate of Furman University and Samford University. Before coming to Howard, I have been fortunate to let my passion for education lead me to opportunities around the world, from teaching English in China, to tutoring students in Germany, to recently managing Samford’s London Study Centre in the United Kingdom. Now I cannot wait to see what opportunities will open up for our students here at Howard over the coming months and years as we work hard together to reach our full potential.

From August to mid-October I work as an assistant coach for the girls' soccer team and will not be available for after-school tutoring. However, beginning in October, I will be available on Thursdays after school, and usually Mondays.

Make up work is available in PowerSchool. Click "view" beside an assignment to access the missing work. Lecture slides can be found on Google Classroom. Codes: 1A: qx498g, 3A: l55htn (first character is a lower-case "L"), 5A: y6qbp7j, 1B: xcrzjh, 3B: u39vkoa, 4B: kao4mep

Please feel free to call me any time before 9 pm at 205-563-1193 if you have any questions or concerns about how your child is doing in my classroom. For parent-teacher conferences, my planning periods are 4th block on A-days (1:11-2:35) and 5th block on B-days (2:41-4:00).
