Ms. Salazar-Williams

My name is Michelle Williams and I am the School Social Worker here at The Howard School. I am originally from Nashville, TN and obtained my undergraduate degree in Social Work from UTC. Following my time at UTC, I continued my education at UTK and obtained my Masters in Social Work with a focus on Organizational Leadership. I have lived in Chattanooga for several years and call it home! I am here to offer support to students and their families by helping address various needs in their lives. Students are able to meet with me to discuss mental health concerns, behavioral concerns, academic support, future ready goals, or any additional support that makes academic success a challenge! I offer therapy, referrals to outside agencies, material resources, and always provide a safe space for students to reset or debrief. I am here to provide a positive experience for students that are needing additional social emotional help and encourage them to love school and strive for further achievements! I truly love this community and I am so excited to be a Hustin' Tiger!
