My name is Daniel Randolph. I have been and ESOL educator with Hamilton County Schools for the past five years. I have taught at East Ridge Middle, Spring Creek Elementary, Red Bank Middle School and Red Bank High School. I am very excited and privileged to be a part of the ESOL team at Howard. I have taught students from over 20 different countries.  I graduated from UTC in 2010. I am certified in ESOL, English 7-12, and middle grades education. I graduated from Chattanooga Center for Creative Arts in 2006.
I am passionate about volunteering in my community and have worked with the Chattanooga Area Food Bank and the Community Kitchen. I also volunteer as a stage technician for ongoing community events. I enjoy open water swimming and hiking. I have participated in the Chattanooga Choo Choo Chorus, Chattanooga Organized For Action, Climate Chattanooga, and Chatt Trekkers.
My favorite part about teaching ESOL is the students. The energy and spirit they bring to my classroom is an inspiration. I have taught them English and they have taught me Spanish, resilience, and strength because they have endured so much on their journeys here. I am surprised daily by how much my students teach me. It is a wonderful privilege to work with students who work so hard for the  American dream.
