Bio

Mr. Stinson was born and raised in Chattanooga, TN. He comes from a large family that includes several brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Mr. Stinson attended Barger Elementary School for Kindergarten, 2nd & 3rd grade. He also attended East Brainerd Elementary for 1st grade. Later, he attended Ooltewah Intermediate, Middle, and High School for grades 4th - 12th. Afterwards, he attended Middle Tennessee State University where he studied Engineering Technology. After graduating, he worked in the engineering field before pursuing a career in education. Soon afterwards, he enrolled at The University of Tennessee Chattanooga and earned a Mater's Degree in Secondary Education. During that same time, he taught math at The Howard School and has been here ever since! He is married to his lovely wife who is also a teacher, and they have 2 beautiful daughters. His hobbies include playing sports and working out. Specifically, he enjoys playing basketball, football, and raquetball. Outside of sports, Mr. Stinson enjoys spending time with family and traveling. He also has a passion for music and writing.
